Hot Tuna with Steve Earle
Concert Hall

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady have been friends and musical partners since the early sixties and have played and recorded some of the best and most memorable American blues and roots music. Formed while they were still lead guitarist and bassist of the Jefferson Airplane, Hot Tuna began as an acoustic band and has morphed into masterful group which continues to push forward, creating new material and captivating music lovers the world over.
In 2010, the band tours with an all-star lineup, while recording new songs for an upcoming album. Hot Tuna's electric concerts this summer feature veteran guitarist G.E Smith, brilliant mandolin virtuoso Barry Mitterhoff and special guest drummer Skoota Warner.
Singer-songwriter Steve Earle will kick off the evening with his heartfelt rock and country troubadour tunes. Earle was recently honored with a Grammy Award in the Best Contemporary Folk Album category for his newest CD, Townes.
