Peer Gynt
Gen. Adm. Venue
by Henrik Ibsen
Directed by David Bassuk
Repertory Theatre, Performing Arts Center
With minimal props and costumes, a fantasy landscape of trolls, witches and madmen come to life in this inventive and highly theatrical production of Ibsen's epic tall tale. A funny and poetic play about a selfish ant-hero who travels the world avoiding the predicaments he finds himself in. "What's the difference between troll and man?" asks Ibsen. Possibly, not much.
