Fans of dance, and film, and films about dance will know Benjamin Millepied as the star of Black Swan. The dancer and choreographer is also the founder of the L.A. Dance Project.

Along with co-founders composer Nico Muhly, art consultant Matthieu Humery, founding producer Charles Fabius, and composer Nicholas Britell, Millepied has built a company that has made its mark on the dance world with a contemporary approach to movement and art that the Los Angeles Times describes as “a defining artistic vision for our time.”

LADP’s original works endeavor to be multidisciplinary collaborations with both emerging and established visual artists, musicians, designers, film directors, and composers, contributing to intriguing new platforms for dance.
