I only have one virtual pick this time, but it’s a very special one:

Carnegie Hall presents Live with Carnegie Hall: National Youth Ensembles
Saturday, July 24, at 3pm
Streaming from the Concert Hall at The Purchase PAC
The extraordinary young musicians of Carnegie Hall’s national youth ensembles—the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA), NYO2, and NYO Jazz—represent the future of the country’s orchestral and jazz traditions. The three ensembles convened this summer right here at Purchase College.  Their three weeks of training and music-making culminate in this streamed event, coming to you from our Concert Hall stage. Tune in for a celebration of community and music’s bright future as you get to know the remarkable performers that make up these ensembles.
Featuring: National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (Carlos Miguel Prieto, Conductor); NYO2 (Mei-Ann Chen, Conductor); NYO Jazz (Sean Jones, Artistic Director, Bandleader, and Trumpet)

Each week we will post her curated selection of events featuring the artists you know and love from The PAC Center Series, plus a sampling of stellar local experiences. Enjoy!
