10 out of 12 is a sharp, darkly comic exploration of the chaos behind the scenes in a theatre production. Set during a single intense day of rehearsal, the play delves into the lives, power dynamics, and tensions among actors, directors, and production crew. With layered dialogue and biting wit, it exposes the pressures of artistic creation and the blurred lines between reality and performance.

Experience Advisory
This production features an immersive experience, including a distinctive sound design that reflects the layered world of a technical theatre rehearsal. A set of headphones is provided to each audience member, which allows for a fuller immersion into the sonic world of overlapping voices, cues, backstage sounds, and more. Headphones are provided for use during the performance and will be collected afterward for sanitizing and reuse. Wearing them is optional, though some details may be less distinct without them.

This performance will take place in the Performance Theatre on the Ground Level of the Center for Media, Film, and Theatre (CMFT) at Purchase College.

Parking for the CMFT building is in W1.

From the parking lot, walk to the underpass and enter the CMFT building from the glass doors on the right-hand side of the road. You will need to use the ADA door actuator to open the doors. Once inside, follow the signs to the Performance Theatre.

For mobility/access needs, you can drop off at the entrance and then circle back around to W1 to park. Note that the road running through the underpass is one-way.
