6-7pm Artist Talk
7-7:30pm Reception
Location: Neuberger Museum of Art – Center Gallery

The Neuberger Museum of Art invites you to an evening with a leading member of the Guerrilla Girls, the anonymous artist activists whose bold, data-driven works have challenged inequity in the art world and beyond for decades. Through sharp humor, striking visuals, and compelling statistics, they expose gender and ethnic bias across art, film, politics, and popular culture, urging audiences to question who is represented, who is excluded, and why.

The talk will be presented by the Guerrilla Girl whose pseudonym is Frida Kahlo. It will be followed by a Q&A facilitated by Purchase College curatorial interns who assisted with Guerrilla Girls: Food for Thought, and a reception in the Museum. Arrive early to explore the accompanying exhibition.

Tickets are required.

This program is part of the Daniel P. Paduano and Janet W. Prindle Lecture Series with additional support provided by the Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA) Foundation; The Stanley Helsel Museum Education Endowment with gratitude to Amy Helsel ’85 and Jeremy Swerling ’83; and the Friends of the Neuberger Museum of Art..
