As we hope you already know, just this week we announced the line-up for our next season. And if you’ve taken a look at what’s to come, you might be wondering how it all ties together. If so, read on to learn a little more about PAC Director Seth Soloway’s curatorial vision for the 2019-2020 season.

“The vision for our 2019-2020 season is that we want to continue to disrupt the widespread notion that modern society does not want to leave the living room, and sort of turn that on its head by making The PAC itself a living room for the entire community.

What happens in a living room? Shared experience and critical conversation. At The PAC in 2019-2020 we will provide experiences that spark conversations and make connections, positioning The PAC as a welcoming community hub for an increasingly diverse audience base. We’re excited about welcoming friends old and new to our stages, and about a season that includes more dance, more family-friendly events, and more audience engagement. A special mini-series of events will shine a spotlight on traditional (and not so traditional) artists from Mexico. You’ll also be treated to four brand-new works commissioned by The PAC, two of which will have their world premieres right here.”
