Purchase Symphony & Jazz Orchestra Celebrate Black History Month

The Purchase Symphony and Purchase Jazz Orchestras celebrate Black History Month with a concert including an excerpt of William Dawson’s Negro Folk Symphony, an orchestral suite from Gershwin’s landmark Porgy and Bess, and a set of big band music honoring the musical legacy of Edward Kennedy “Duke” Ellington.
