Compagnie Hervé Koubi

With powerful imagery and inspired choreography, Compagnie Hervé Koubi dancers defy gravity, combining contemporary and urban dance movements, capoeira, and martial arts, and drawing creative strength from Koubi's Algerian roots and the Mediterranean culture. The Rocky Horror Picture Show 50th Anniversary

Probably the oddest, most off-the-wall cult film ever made, this kinky rock'n'roll science fiction horror satire is everybody's favorite late-night show. A young couple stumbles into a castle inhabited by weirdos from the planet Transylvania including Dr. Frank N. Furter (Tim Curry) a transvestite Frankenstein in rhinestone heels. A marvelous musical spoof which urges, "Give yourself over to absolute pleasure."
Branford Marsalis Quartet

CMS: Violin Celebration – Bach to Beethoven

Invented in the mid-16th century, the violin emerged as the stringed instrument of choice during the Baroque era, culminating with the concertos, chamber music, and solo works of J. S. Bach. Virtuosi such as Tartini added flair; Mozart, a proficient violinist himself, contributed sonatas on a sublime new level; and Beethoven, master of drama and musical prophet, paved the way to the future with new heights of expression for the instrument.
Ephrat Asherie Dance + Arturo O’Farrill

Martha Graham Dance Company

100 years ago, the dance world was forever altered by Martha Graham’s vision. Today, the legendary modern dance company continues its three-year GRAHAM100 tour with a celebratory mixed repertory stop at The Purchase PAC. Exemplifying its founder’s timeless and uniquely American style of dance, the third season of GRAHAM100, aligned with the national celebration America250, is titled The Masterpieces. Curated around the question “What is an American?” from Graham’s 1939 work American Document, the season focuses on Graham’s greatest works.
Orpheus Chamber Orchestra with Nobuyuki Tsujii
